Allison & Scott were married on a perfect September day. You can’t beat the setting at Mt. Woodson Castle for a wedding! The ceremony was held under the gorgeous oak trees just before sunset. Charlotte & Ryan were married on a beautiful summer afternoon in Malibu. A gorgeous setting on the beach in front of The Sunset Restaurant. A perfect day if you ask me! Enjoy!!

Engagement sessions are my favorite. When deciding on our location, I always ask the couples their favorite spot to hang out or a place that means a lot to them. Carrie & Bryan spend their Sundays together and often ride their beach cruisers up the coast, so it was only fitting to spend the first part of their session on beach cruisers! These two are a perfect pair and two of the sweetest people I’ve ever met. I first met Carrie when we worked together in the corporate world and it’s a rare day when you don’t see a smile on her face. So it makes sense that when Bryan first saw her back in high school, he knew she was something special. He transferred high schools, so they never got to know each other, but he never forgot her. Fast forward ten years…they cross paths again and the rest is history. They will be married next month and I couldn’t be more excited to be a part of their big day!!!

One of the things I’m most thankful for is the true blessing of friendship. The friends who are loyal, encouraging, kind, patient, honest…the ones who you want to go through life with and you know they will always have your back. This little family exemplifies that for me and I couldn’t have been happier for them when they welcomed baby girl #2! Here are a few from their maternity session in Coronado and then their newborn session once little Olivia arrived in October!

Jamie & Matt – your friendship brings so much joy and blessing to my life. I love your little family and can’t wait to see these little girls grow up to be even more adorable (if that’s possible)! 🙂

I had so much fun getting to know Bailey & Rich during their photo session! Though I wasn’t able to shoot their wedding in December, I was so honored to photograph their engagement session! We met up in La Jolla and then chased the sunset in Pacific Beach. Enjoy!!

I think most of you know by now that I love Maui. And I love it even MORE when I get to photograph a wedding on such a beautiful island! With the help of their wedding coordinator, Cherise, Daniel & Tricia found my work and contacted me to document their wedding day. We didn’t get to meet until the day before the wedding, but I knew right away that this wedding was going to be amazing! Daniel is from Ireland and Tricia is from Southern California, but they met and fell in love in Australia! So with guests traveling from all over the world (Canada, Scotland, Ireland, Australia…) to attend their wedding, it just made sense for it to be in Maui. These two (and their families) couldn’t have been sweeter and welcomed me as if I was an old friend.
